It doesn't make sense to spend big bucks on lenses and then put cheep or inferior filters in front of them. Since I shoot Fuji it only makes sense that they would make a great filter to protect the investment..

I chose the Fuji filter over the other brands because I felt it would be machined properly and fit better, not to mention That Fuji was unlikely to make an inferior filter to protect their superior lenses. I was correct on both counts.

I bought this forto protect the 23mm f2 lens. It does not effect the image quality and does the job. Glass is too expensive to take a chance. Shippes FAST!

I bought this 58mm filter for protection only. It does NOT effect image quality and I know my lens is protected. Why take a chance on scratching an expensive lens?

Fuji's Protector filter is first rate. A bit expensive, but adds no coloration to image, no reduction in light to sensor, and is optically perfect. Pay the money, gladly.

Really. You know you're dealing with a giant corporation worried about liability when the gist of the user's guide (in 8 languages!!) is "broken glass can cause injury". Please, Fujifilm, if I gotta buy a ($) clear filter to keep you guys in business and selling FILM, I'll do it. Tell me what else I gotta do.

I use these clear Fuji filters on all my Fuji lenses to protect the front elements. I shoot in all kinds of weather & environments and would rather replace a filter then scratch or shatter a lens. Quality matters. When I shot Nikon I used Nikon filters.

Does what it says. Fuji handles UV filtering at the sensor so this clear filter is optimal for Fuji cameras. Superb quality glass and threads.

If you are paying a lot for a good lens then I recommend buying good quality filters. I use it protect my lenses when traveling.
