Pleasantly surprised, coming from Profoto. I bought this and an xplor300 for an upcoming trip. This is really well made. It's heavy duty and comes with lots of inserts which makes it quite versatile. It can be a beauty dish or a softbox and the grid is included. Can't beat the price.

So far, great product. Easy to set up and perfect for headshots. Nice not to have to use adapters as this fits right on the AD 300 flashheqd.

OK, it's a nice modifier with lots of accessories at a reasonable price. What makes it awesome, my favorite, is how great it pairs with the AD300. Doesn't seem like much on paper, but in use it is way WAY smaller than an equivalent bowens mount. In transport and on location, I just leave it attached, collapsed, to the AD300--they are the same diameter. Plus, it's so easy to pop open and closed that I leave the double diffusion in place and just reach through the zippered slot to work the umbrella-like mechanism. Arrive, pop it open, shoot, pop closed, go home. perfect.

This kit packs a lot of value at an affordable price. However I still find myself using a humble white umbrella beacuse it weighs nothing compared to the softbox. The softbox itself is lightweight and easy to use, but a modest umbrella of the same diameter is basically weightless and delivers good results when used properly. If you want more control, then definitely this softbox is the way to go.

Its not a ParaSnap Softbox but it is pretty easy to setup. Lightweight and seems durable. Produces great light. Fits perfectly on Xplor400PRO. I would look at the Glow ParaSnap before purchasing this one. They are a little pricey but it makes outdoor shoots 100% easier. This is an excellent alternative though.

I'm brand new to flashes and I couldn't have asked for a better softbox to get started for portraits. Diffuses and softens light beautifully!

I love this thing--always my go-to for one or two person portraits. It's fast to setup and way smaller than a Bowens mount pop-up. It is also my most versatile softbox. Placed close with double diffusion, it's great for soft light portraits. Remove the diffusers and use one of the deflector plates, and it acts just like a beauty dish. In fact, the plates narrow the beam out of this parabolic so much, that I don't ever feel the need for the grid (it's kind of a pain to put on anyway.) Now I want the bigger one for more coverage.

If you own the AD300 or AD400, this propriety mount is a bit lighter and a LOT smaller footprint than the same product with the Bowens mount and it costs the same. I saw Robert Halls's utube video about his flash kit loosing 10lbs., keeping this mounted on an AD300 (he used the 33", I opted for this smaller one) and keeps it always attached to the light stand, when all connected fitting nicely into a carry bag and set up in less than a minute with TWO more AD100's! A super quick studio setup when you're on the run. You can see from my photo the big size difference because of the smaller mount. Robert added a couple of AD100's on lightweight stands for an amazing lightweight and super portable kit, I really liked the idea and am really happy with the softbox, Adorama did a great job on this. Also comes with a grid which folds up small; it's kind of delicate and takes time to set up but great when you have the time and use for it. The light produced is really nice and it holds up a lot better than an umbrella in a breeze. There is another brand that has a little better build quality, but it's over 2x the price! At this price the quality and value is amazing, thank you Adorama!!

Excellent value, the perfect tool for my Flashpoint AD300. I love how it connects directly to the strobe head via the Godox mount.

I should have bought the larger softbox. This is great for 1/2 body shots. Great for kid portraits.

First assembly was scary but then no problem. Very stiff flexible frame that makes a nice, rigid box. High quality and loads of accessories.

Almost perfect! They just messed up the attachment points for the inner diffusion panels. The only way to attached is to remove the grid and front diffusion. This completely gets better n the way of the quick pop-up design of the flash. I?ve ended up just leaving the box open permentnetly and carrying it to my car open because it would take too long to remove the grid and front diffusion to reach in and place the inner diffusion. We are fixing it by adding more Velcro to the attachment and the inner diffusion, that way we can just squeeze it in through the zipper hole.

The set up of the soft box was not intuitive. Looking at a YouTube video showed me how to insert and attached the various diffusers. The more i set up and take down the quicker it will become. The direct mount is a huge plus!

Great for starting out. Not to small and puts out a good amount of light. And small enough to be mobile and transport

Amazing modifier, dirt cheap for what you get
By OLEG M.
This is a true parabolic modifier. Without any diffuser it's dark in the central area. The central point is bright since there is no way to focus the light unfortunately. If you ever shot with a Parabolix modifier - the ADS85s renders a similar pattern like a defocused Parabolix (the head position is opposite). Neither of them won't give a complete dark center like a Broncolor Para can do, but will you complain for $60??? Now, if you want a softbox type of lighting - all you need is just the...

How can you elevate your on-location fashion photography with a lighting modifier that combines convenience and professional-grade illumination The Glow EZ Lock Parabolic Softbox Kit for Flashpoint XPLOR 400 is the quintessential tool for photographers who demand both portability and exceptional light control.
This kit features the 25.5" Glow EZ Lock Parabolic Softbox, designed with a highly reflective silver interior that maximizes light output, ensuring your subjects are bathed in bright, yet diffused light. The direct mount system is engineered to seamlessly attach to your Flashpoint XPLOR 400/Pro monolight, transforming it into a silver parabolic powerhouse in mere moments.
The standout innovation of this softbox is its EZ Lock mechanism, a groundbreaking design that simplifies the setup and breakdown process. Much like an umbrella, this mechanism is activated by a ring equipped with a quick-release button. This allows for a swift and secure locking action, enabling you to open or collapse the softbox with unprecedented ease.
When it's time to move to the next location or conclude your shoot, the softbox collapses instantly with a simple pinch of the quick-release button. This feature is a game-changer for photographers who value efficiency and speed in their workflow.
The softbox also boasts a touch fastener tape around its outer edge, providing a versatile attachment point for additional diffusion or color correction screens. Additionally, a convenient zipped side door offers easy access for inserting lighting accessories even when the softbox is mounted and in use.
To further enhance your creative lighting options, the kit includes an external eggcrate grid that narrows the beam spread and adds directional control, minimizing spill light and adding depth to your images. A 22" white inner baffle softens the light even more, while the two 13" collapsible reflectors - one gold/silver and one wave-gold/white - allow for nuanced adjustments to the light's color temperature and quality. These reflectors attach effortlessly with touch fastener strips, enabling quick changes on the fly.
Each component of the Glow EZ Lock Parabolic Softbox Kit, including the softbox and accessories, comes with its own dedicated storage bag, ensuring that your gear remains organized and protected during transport. This kit is not only a practical choice for the mobile photographer but also a testament to the fusion of innovation and functionality in professional lighting equipment.
