Feels cheap and didn't fit my AD200 flash body without having to forcefully press it through the opening. I would opt for the $35 version as it is significantly better in build quality and is a cheap investment for expensive lights.

This item works as it should, allowing me to use bowens Mount soft boxes with my speedlight, either handheld or on a light stand. However it can struggle at keeping itself at the right angle, with the weight of a large soft box pulling it down further if it's set at a low angle. A way to more securely lock in an angle would be a good revision for a future model.

It works decent but feels a little cheap. The thumbscrew for the umbrella holder is really tiny and hard to grip.

Had to remove the rubber protective foot on the bolt locking the flash in place so that the flash could fit. Also plastic surround at the adjustment bolt broke after a bit of use.

I thought these would be more versatile to use as handheld and then to put on a light stand. If your softbox is anything bigger than 16 inches, these things aren't going to perform well. I have a 28" softbox I used with this. After a couple of weeks, both of my brackets are broken. Good thing they didn't cost a lot.

I would buy this again. Amazing value, smooth action of moving parts and solid connection for Bowen’s Mount. Easy on, solid fit, easy off. Handle is great for human assist off camera flash. Check your flash size dimensions to ensure it fits. It’s a tight fit for larger budget strobes. Has a strong plastics manufacturing oder which will likely “off gas” if you leave it unwrapped and in the shade for a few days. FYI if you are very sensitive to smells.

So I’m factoring price into the 5 star rating. Given how inexpensive this item is, the value is high. This item works great with my 30” square soft box. It can be mounted to light stand or it can be hand held with built in handle. Has Bowens S Mount and holds umbrellas. Speed lights clamp easily into place.

Although no damage to the shipping box, mine arrived broken and had to be returned. Three orders and three times I had damage to the products. Very disappointed. Otherwise, I'm looking for something to give me off camera flash that's portable and this, along with a wireless setup, should do that. It will not fit Flashpoint ROUND flashes without extensive modification. I mean taking a saw and cutting a chunk out.

This does NOT fit my Godox AD200Pro anywhere close unlike the S2 Glow version (without handle) that does. I'll keep it because it does work with my Godox TT685 speedlite. It's weird that there are so many reviews that say the AD200 fits but maybe I got a different version of the Glow mount. Interesting that the actual product page says that it won't fit the Flashpoint Evolv 200 which is the same as the AD200.

Functions well- it fits my light stand and is secure, great for the price. Not 5/5 because it smells a little like oil (although i know that helps it bend smoothly) and because the top clamp is a little hard to turn.

This bracket feels a bit flimsy compared to the S2 version. This version broke after about 2 years of moderate to light usage — the plastic around the base screw where it meets the light stand broke, so the whole butterfly screw assembly came out, so now the bracket won’t tighten onto the stand.

Bought this to hold an ad200 you need to pop the top rubber off the holder but even then you can’t fit the ad200 in it with the rubber protective sleeve. Would work well with a standard speed light though

I am pretty happy with this s bracket with handle. I do with the handle would unscrew so it could be used on other brackets. Other than that, I am very happy with the design of it.

Great idea for a product but needs some modifications for functionality. Handle doesn’t secure to any stand securely. Doesn’t work with evolv 200 regular or pro. So I never get to use it.

Yes this will fit the eVOLV 200 light if you take off the rubber boot. The locking mechanism is better on this one versus the normal bracket.

I love that I can now use my speed light as a soft box on the go. Using an umbrella this easily mounts to a light stand and gives me easy access. Especially great when shooting outdoors. Even in my home studio it is lighter and easier to use than a mono late. No cords to trip over.
