Misses the mark for a dock
This dock misses the mark on available ports. HDMI is mainstream and that isn't utilized. You will need display port adapters. You cannot use a dual jack headset to this because it does not have a mic input. It does have a line input but that won't work with most microphones. Very poor design decision.

I have been using this piece of hardware for the last 4 years with my HP Elitebook 840 and it has never wavered. A unobtrusive, reliable device, can't but recommend.

A dock should add extra connections so you can conveniently use it as a Desktop. Not only does this dock not have HDMI, but it covers up the HDMI that is on the computer... so I can't use it.
