Works like an L bracket should!
Works like an L bracket should. I especially like the 1/4" 20 screw mount on the bottom to connect my Black Rapid camera strap. Well made and it fits all my Arca Swiss type tripods.

Very nice L bracket.
Love it. Much better than a universal L bracket. Build quality is exceptional. The price was a little hard to swallow for just a piece metal but anything in photography that’s well made usually comes with a high price tag. I do wish it had magnets on the bottom to hold the hex key but it’s not a deal breaker since I rarely take it off the camera but if that’s something you do regularly that could be something to think about. Other than that there’s not much more to say. It’s a very nice L bracket.

Fits great - Works great
Fits perfect. Works great. I am purchasing this for my backup camera. I already own one for my primary camera. More expensive than I would like, but if you want it to just work and not worry about it, this will do that.

Excellent L bracket
Just as advertised. Does add weight to camera. I’m using it on a tripod so not an issue for my arthritic thumbs.

Fits the 5D Mark IV well. A bit pricy, but the L bracket is solidly built.

Adorama did good - UPS not so much
Product is fine, communication and customer care is fine, but UPS delivery fell on it's face during the Christmas rush. Unexpected delay and return necessitated reshipment.

Love this L-bracket! I was quite nervous ordering it as I have been a loyal RRS customer for years & have had an L-plate on every camera body for my Arca-Swiss tripod system . But I thought, what the hey, this Kirk bracket has great reviews not to mention quite a bit cheaper! It fits my camera perfectly with no wobble or movement! Wish I would have found this brand years ago!

Great fit for the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
I love the bracket. it fits perfectly, and I can access all the connections. This is a very accurate fit, and stays securely in place. I think it is overpriced, but do not see a cheaper solution that has a nice fit with easy accessibility to need connections. Adorama's shipping was very slow; expedited shipping from NY to Savannah took over a week. The big delay was Adorama getting it to the shipper.

Kirk L- Bracket
This thing fits my Mark IV perfectly. I love being able to change my camera to vertical position without having to move the head on the tripod now.

Fits Like a Glove
I used the 5D3 version of this bracket on that camera for 3 years and it worked great. Now that I have the 5D4 I went right back to the Kirk. This version is great because you don't have to bolt it to the camera's strap hook like with the 5D3 version. And no, the 5D3 version does not fit the 5D4. Anyway, the RRS bracket is more expensive and all it offers is a slot to keep the allen wrenches stored. For what, I never take the bracket off! The Kirk is perfect. BTW, I use a Swiss-Arca Z1 ball head and it fits like a glove in the deck. Also, I have a video tripod and a travel pod that doesn't have arca swiss compatible plates, all I did was buy clamps to attach to the other QR plates and ba da bing, the Kirk fits all my support now.
