I would not know how they sound as I lost this item and my money from porch thieves. The outer Shipping Packaging states Klipsch speakers on the outside for all to see. I would rate this a zero as that would be more appropriate. I highly recommend anyone purchasing call on line to place your order and request signature required. It is not automatic and there is not option for such via online. Beware.

I bought these manly for their high efficiency to use with some low powered tube amps. As of yet I'm not too impressed with the sound. Doing a comparison with a pair of 10 year old Polk M-10 which are about the same size and price, the R-14M sound muddy or muted compared to the M-10. Is there a break in period? Probably would be fine for home theater use. If they don't brighten up I'll trade up a model. Klipsch has been a pleasure to do business with.

Decent sound quality for the price. 100$ for a set. They made really good surround speakers. The tweeters on them to me are more impressive than the drivers. All in all a good buy.

My purchase came on time and the R-14M bookshelf speakers work great for what I needed them for. I will add a subwoofer to add more bass to my overall system but the R-14M is a great start to completing my simple audio setup.

I bought these in Amazon for $149 for the pair. They replaced 20 year old KEF bookshelf. The sound is astounding for this price point. I'm blown away and will continue to replace older speakers with new Klipsch.

These offer great room filling sound! The sweet spot is a little tricky to find. I'd recommend to have them on stands. I'm using them with the McIntosh MHA150 intergrated amp with elac reference cables. As part of a 2 channel system. A sub is a must with these. These only need 5 watts to really sing. And for 99$ a pair I think it's a good deal while supplies last.

I purchased these for rear surround speakers in my rec-room and they sound great. I can highly recommend these for anyone in need of a smaller scale speaker that does not sound small. I am using a Klipsch sub for low end punch so these speakers do not need to support the lows.

I bought these to use in my home gym. I pulled out my very old Harmon Kardon receiver from storage (which still worked after 42 years!) and the sound of these R14Ms is excellent. I'll admit that I didn't have high hopes based on the speaker size, but I was duly impressed with the sound quality and the volume these little speakers can put out! These are my first pair of Klipsch speakers, but I'm already shopping for more. Quality build and excellent sound!

The build quality of these speakers is impressive. Solid and perfectly crafted. The sound is excellent for their size and way ahead of any small speakers I've had. I'm using them in my art room with an old Aiwa receiver and a Philips CD changer. The old hardware sounds great through the R-14Ms.

I purchased 4 and a Denon as a replacement for a Paragym/Onkyo surround system. Also using Klipsch subwoofer. During movies instantaneous bass isn't handled well.

I still use a set of vintage KG2s. I got these R-14m to use with a new receiver for 5.1. Hooked these to my reciever as primary L and R channels just to test them out. That was 2 weeks ago, and I have yet to wire in the KG2s. Sure, there is some bass missing with the R-14M, but mids and highs reproduce wonderfully. I love my old speakers, and I'll rewire for proper 5.1...at some point.

Ordered R-14M speakers directly from Klipsch. On line ordering process was smooth. After I placed the order I had a question and called the number on the confirmation. Customer service promptly answered question. The order was delivered a short time later directly to our doorstep by UPS. This was important. Some time orders are dropped off on our driveway quite away from our front door. Speakers were packaged well. Connected them to receiver and had music in a few minutes. Sound in the room is great. Room functions as a library, so volume varies with circumstance. Room is about 10X15.

Excellent sound quality for such a small package. They gave my old Sony portable stereo a new life. Build quality is exceptional. Price wasn't to bad either.
