I bought this particular camera becouse of its size and large grip. My hands are arthritic and I needed something that had a good grip. The camera takes good pictures and it was easy to learn. I love the extended zoom for close-ups so I don't have to continually be adding an extension to the lens. I would rather use a camera to take pictures than my cell phone. It will get used in many places as we love to travel.

Wow! What an impressive budget camera that shoots way above a budget camera. First off, the build quality and operation is great, image quality is excellent even out to 42x zoom. It has the PASM modes that most experienced photographers love where one can adjust settings with exposure, shutter speed, etc. The good news is that the Auto and Scene settings really work. This camera is great for travel and family use since it's small and easy to carry. I give it 5 well deserved stars!
