Everyone should have on of these, even though it's not a cheap camera, what else could you ask for? It is very small, has a great design, and it's a LEICA... enough said...

Great camera to throw in the pocket for a night out, travel, parties. Low light pics can be very noisy, so keep the ISO low if possible. Very classy design and high quality feel. Very small, fits easily into shirt pocket. Pics at low ISO are sharp, with great color.

This is my fourth digital camera - my second Leica. Unfortunately, the first one, an early compact model, was stolen, along with the card, on my way home from Paris. Consequently I also lost a lot of pictures of that experience, much to my dismay. The technology of digital photography has come so far since then that there really is no comparison in quality, megapics or features. This camera is perfect for those times when a digital SLR is not appropriate, though I haven't used it much in low light conditions. My only cons would be that there isn't a manual viewfinder and there isn't a lot of "help" included in the camera itself. The user manual covers everything that I've had a question about so far, however. Legendary Leica quality and superior craftsmanship. The larger LCD screen is particularly nice, as well as the affordable price tag.

I'm extremely disapointed in the lag time for taking a picture.I take a lot of wildlife pictures and they require perfect timing. This camera will not take a picture at the same time as you snap it. There is at least a second lag. Everything else is great.

I love this camera, most stylish in class plus the fact that it's so small so powerful it will be a camera to be proud of for years to come. Very user-friendly just pure fun and yes it is so easy to sneak into no camera events and works well in silent and low light situations. Yes a bit pricey but paid for itself the first day. So much more of a statement than Nikon Cannon or the rest Photo quality excellent just what you would expect from Lrica

A little expensive but after all you are buying a "Leica", and that translates to excellent quality and company support.
