Great addition to the D-Lux 6, but at 1/2 the price of the camera it becomes a rather expensive accessory

While expensive it's a very useful addition to the camera. It provides a clear way to compose images in bright light, and removes the distraction of activity in your eye line when composing using the rear LCD. The diopter is great for us older photographers, and the swivel head allows for use of the camera in positions you wouldn't consider when using the LCD.

Helps to steady the camera, and the resolution on the EVF screen is excellent. I shot with a D-Lux 5 for 2 years and never used an EVF. Really glad I picked this one up.
