Solid build for impressive results
I’ve been researching this for a while. And while I get it’s an expensive product and there’s other cameras equal to this mirrorless Leica, but oh boy, is it worth it to me. Although it’s heavier than some, the build quality is excellent, and in my opinion is better than my former Nikon D850. Despite its weight, it’s an easy camera to hold. Of course, the optics and sensor are superb and for me the button layout and menus couldn’t be easier. Highly recommended.

The SL2's larger 3.2" rear LCD and the essential Leica three-button control layout make it the most capable and approachable professional system camera. Its newly developed 47-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, with an ISO range of 50 - 50,000, provides all the resolution photographers need while still maintaining high speeds and versatile low-light shooting.
The SL2 is a perfect hybrid platform for both stills and video, now recording 4K across the full sensor. It goes further with 4K video up to 60 fps, a cropped 5K mode, built-in 3.5mm headphone and mic jacks, and 10-bit quality direct to card.
The SL2's advanced contrast-detect autofocus system is capable of face detection and body detection, tracking moving subjects and maintaining pinpoint accuracy. Its intelligent-AF (iAF) can focus on still subjects and begin tracking them as soon as they move.
