Similar to the 515MVB, but with a 75mm bowl, the 525MVB is a two-stage, lightweight, high-tensile aluminum tripod that is extremely rigid and stable. Ithas a die-cast aluminum shoulder with a built-in 75mm interface bowl, adjustableleg lock levers for reliability and safety in the field, and a floor level spreader which aids in tripod leg angle setting.

The lowest leg section has twin metal spiked feet. The tripod can also be equipped with optional spiked feet shoes, different types of dollies, and two models of mid-level spreader.

The 525MVB is designed for heads with a 75mm ball; however, for use with flat based video heads, such as the Manfrotto 503 Pro Video Head, a 3284 Ball is necessary.

The 519 is the first PRO FLUID VIDEO HEAD in the world with an interchangeable and adjustable counterbalance spring! It's a fact that not all video cameras weigh the same; mini DV cameras may weigh only 2 lbs while professional grade DV cameras can weigh upwards of 22 lbs.
