The BWS1000 Blimp is a comprehensive solution for run-and-gun audio capture, perfect for filmmakers, reporters, and boom operators. Its 12-point shock mount and integrated XLR cable keep your 15" shotgun microphone secure, allowing you to focus on capturing the perfect shot.

The state-of-the-art blimp capsule of the BWS1000 is designed to shield your microphone from wind noise, while the 12-point shockmount minimizes vibrations. The internal XLR Cable is an essential tool for seamless audio capture in film, ENG, video, and field production.

The BWS1000 also comes with a "deadcat" windscreen, providing additional protection against strong wind gusts. Its rubberized handle ensures a firm grip, making it an ideal tool for on-the-go audio capture.

This system is designed to work with XLR shotgun microphones up to 320 mm in length. It can be used handheld or mounted to boom poles, tripods, and other rigs with its 3/8 inch or 1/4 inch threads. The 12-point shock mount, made up of three rings each with four suspension bands, effectively reduces handling noise and vibrations.

The BWS1000 also features an outer blimp capsule that slides along the shock mount rail to completely cover the microphone. This design allows sound to pass through while limiting wind noise. An internal female XLR cable plugs into the microphone, and a male XLR plug at the handgrip allows you to attach your own XLR cable.

For extra windy conditions, the included "deadcat" windscreen fits snugly over the entire blimp capsule, reducing wind noise by up to 40dB. This windscreen still provides access to the hand grip/mount and the XLR cable, ensuring convenience and functionality.
