I love my router. I even have personal app to keep an eye on my NETGEAR AC1200 Smart WiFi Router (R6230). The Nighthawk app. Love how easy it is. Can use it in the front of the house or the hole back yard with excellent service on my phone or other people that come to visit to mostly use the high speed wifi router on their laptop. Then i try to keep their free coffee topped off while i enjoy their company and comaraderie. I can block their access if i need to using the friendly app or i can use the many different free Internet speed test to verify my high speed internet service. Waiting for the next person to come over and socialize.

Our previous router (several years old) was prone to overheating and temporary failure. This router replaced our old one and no longer needs an external fan connected to it. However, there have been occasional drops in connection, though we're not sure whether this is due to our ISP or the router. But it was easy to set up with the Nighthawk app.

I had an outdated internal adapter, so I bought the Netgear AC 1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi USB Adapter. I'm shocked at the incredible download speeds I am getting now. I wish I would have bought it sooner. Very easy to install. You can not go wrong for the price. Highly recommended.

Like all Netgear products I've had, this device seems to have built-in obsolescence and breaks in at least one way within the first year and stops operating within another. It's cheaply and hastily made. And the warranty for IT service is conveniently only for a few months. It's likely the classic use and repurchase mentality schemed up by predictably uncaring corporations.

Only used for a few weeks, but was a good reliable router. Was able to cover my 1700 sqft house with no dead areas. Quick and easy set-up, though I hate that I had to download an app to activate but didnt have WiFi to download app so had to use data.

I got the adapter for many years and it looks modern until now and unique and the range is acceptable, but with unstable network it lost the connection until i unplug it and replug it again.

Actually, I have a question. My TV gets disconnected from the WiFi service when I use Bluetooth ear buds. Apparently, they interfere with each other. Can I use this router to solve the problem? How do I set it up? Thanks.

To put in my words, It's been a trying few months for me. Stretching my every dollar to make, sure my little boy, his mom and myself are afloat. This product came into sight as I seen the price. It was already discounted when I purchased it. Retail, if my memory serves, was 71.00$. it was discounted at 47.00$ when I spotted it. It wasn't until I checked out, that the CSR told me 18.30$ was my grand total. I was eccentric! I saved 77$ in thinking I was going to spend 100$ minimum. But the experience from unboxing, to setup, to registration for warranty, and account creation, simply a breeze. I'd say I spent no more than 7 minutes doing all of this and the product was setup. I don't have any problems to report with it so far. It hasn't kicked me off, disconnected in any way. It's lightning quick, so my much reaction is excellent for this item! I'd actually highly recommend it to anyone who is in need of something like this! Thank you Netgear! Money saver, Stress reducer, and I get to keep some of my remaining hairline too! All pluses in my opinion. As I have a liking to keeping my hair! Baldness wouldn't look good on me.

Very pleased with this router. For being a wifi 5 router, it maintains speed and connection at a great rate. The only concern would be that it does not have a far range, which is great for me now, but in the future I will need to upgrade. Love the app and ease of accessibility the app provides.
