I have used high quality, professional level filters for over 20 years. I recently switched equipment that required much larger filters. I went with Nisi due to the versatility of the system. I am very impressed with the quality of the glass they use. when you put additional glass in front of your lens, you need it to be perfect. My impression is that Nisi filters are top of the line.

Just when you thought your photography couldn't get any more dynamic, the NIP-150-MGND Medium Graduated 4-Stop (1.2) Neutral Density Filter steps in to elevate your visual storytelling. Expertly crafted to fit lenses requiring 150x170mm filters, this premium quality accessory is an essential tool for both professional and avid photographers.
Constructed from high-grade H-K9L optical glass, the NIP-150-MGND ensures supreme clarity and fidelity in your images. The glass is engineered to be remarkably flat and uniform, which means your photos will be free from any unwanted distortion or color cast. This precision in manufacturing allows photographers to capture scenes with true-to-life accuracy.
The innovative nano coating technology applied to these filters provides a triple-layer of protection. Not only are they waterproof, ensuring that you can shoot in various weather conditions without hesitation, but they are also scratch and oil resistant. This durability means that your filter will stand the test of time, even with frequent use in challenging environments.
The medium graduated tint of the NIP-150-MGND is what sets it apart. Designed with a subtle transition that begins at the center and intensifies towards the top, this filter allows for a smooth gradation of 4-stops of light reduction. This feature is particularly useful for balancing the exposure between a bright sky and a darker landscape, ensuring that both areas are exposed correctly without the need for complex post-processing.
The moderate pace of the transition zone provides a natural and aesthetically pleasing blend of the tinted and clear areas of the filter. This makes it an ideal choice for photographers looking to maintain a realistic horizon line without the harsh separation that can occur with stronger graduated filters.
Whether you're capturing majestic landscapes, cityscapes at sunset, or any scene where the light intensity varies significantly across the frame, the NIP-150-MGND Medium Graduated 4-Stop Neutral Density Filter is your ally in achieving perfectly balanced exposures with a professional touch.
