The Lumix G X Vario PZ 45-175mm f/4.0-5.6 lens is the industry's first to adopt the Multi-Actuator Floating Inner Focus System. This system controls three lens groups separately, resulting in a reduction in both size and weight without compromising on the lens's high descriptive performance for resolution and contrast across the entire 45-175mm zoom range.
Despite its long zoom range from standard to telephoto, this lens boasts an impressively compact design, measuring approximately 90.0 mm in length and weighing approximately 210g. This compact hybrid design is achieved through the inclusion of two aspherical lenses, ensuring ultra-high mobility without sacrificing image quality.
The lens also features two ED lenses that suppress chromatic aberration, contributing to high descriptive performance at the entire zoom range. The integration of Panasonic's Nano Surface Coating technology minimizes reflection across the entire visual light range (380nm-780nm), resulting in super clear images with a dramatic reduction of ghost and flare.
The Lumix G X Vario PZ 45-175mm f/4.0-5.6 lens is equipped with a POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), making it easy to capture super clear shots even in low-light situations. With the improved sensitivity of the gyro sensor, the POWER O.I.S. suppresses large, slow movements 2x more effectively.
When mounted on the cameras of the LUMIX G Micro System, users can take advantage of the contrast AF system and the convenient functions derived from it. The lens's inner focus system, driven by a stepping motor, supports the Light Speed AF of approximately 0.15 seconds, speeding up the aperture control and shortening the shutter time lag by approximately 20%.
The lens also features a circular aperture diaphragm with seven aperture blades, producing an attractive smoothness in out-of-focus areas even when shooting at large apertures.
