58mm Lens to 48mm Filter Adapter
The ring is well machined, smooth exterior and very sturdy. The threads are rippled but not jagged. The rippling can help prevent the adapter and filters from unscrewing inadvertently. The adapter threads perfectly onto the 58mm lens but there is a problem getting the 48mm telescope filters to fit the 48mm adapter. It threads in about two turns then locks into place firmly with more threads to go obviously showing. As long as I gently thread the filter in and do not force it in any farther it...

Good adapter.
Good qualty adapter, fit nicely. Does what it is supposed to.
Allows you to use smaller size filters on lenses with a larger diameter thread. The first number is the size that screws into the lens, the second number is the filter size. Step " Down" Rings May Cause Vignetting.
