Best kept secret at a great price!
There are a few mics to choose from for the iPhone. This one is far and away is the best choice. It's easy to use, it's from a brand you can trust, and the audio quality makes a world of difference.

Great mic for on the go
Great mic for on the go. I've had it for a few weeks now & it's an added gem for podcasting on the go or whatever else you may need a portable mic for.

It’s better than the mic on the headset
Honestly, I wanted to LOVE this mic…. but it crackles when I am using it for what I wanted, which was singing on Tok Tok duets. It’s better than the mic on the headphones, so there’s that…. but there’s a crackle crack that won’t stop, even in airplane mode. So, meh.

Quick and easy upgrade to iPhone mic
Much better build and sound quality than some of the other iPhone focused mics I’ve tried. Only mild annoyance would be that I need to remove my case on 12 pro. Would be fine if your case doesn’t cover the area around the lightning port completely. I like my case, so I may just try a small lightning extender to remedy.

Great sound, but may not work with a case.
Sounds great, only downside is it probably won’t fit with many cases. I have a pretty minimal sized case and had to buy an extender. Of course now it sticks out a little far, and feels kinda flimsy. The case is one I use for my Moment lenses - and I’m guessing many that would want this type of mic are probably using a similar setup.

Convenient and easy to use
Convenient directional microphone for an iPhone. The Rode attaches easily and works well. I found the free Rode app a bit cumbersome; it keeps wanting me to upgrade to a $ version that isn’t available. However, it plays well with Voice Recorder Pro.

Portable and easy to carry the Rode Microphone VideoMic Me-L was exactly what we were needing for personal vlogs and video clips. It is small and sleek in design with no problems picking up excellent sound. The design of the lightening plug in makes for easy assembly and the adapter helps keep the microphone in place snug but not tight. A little more attention could have been brought to this but nothing to be worried about with proper attention to care and detail. The only drawbacks are having to unplug it when switching between selfie and regular camera modes.

Great Product
Works well, I use it for the video portion of my podcasts. Haven’t used it outside or in a noisier area but I have used it while driving in my car and the sound was great.

Did not work with my phone case on .. too big of a hassle to remove phone case just to use it .. I returned it .. Adorama has an awesome return policy for V.I.P. Club members
