Very high quality lens! Focus is very crisp and the images are sharp! The aperture dial clicks so it is very easy to use! Very fast lens! I have a 18-300 zoom lens and this one just beats the pants off of it!

I purchased this lens in used condition. It arrived in the time that was stated. The product was packed very well with no damage issues. Adorama rated this lens as possibly showing some signs of wear, however I found it to be in better condition than expected. The only visible wear is on the lens mount. The lens has a very solid feel and quality finished appearance. Once I mounted the lens on my Nikon D610, I could feel the mount smoothly snap into place. Set the aperture ring to f/22, which connects the lens to communicate with the camera body, and your good to go. The focus ring has a silky smooth feel. It has been many years since I have worked with a manual lens and there is something exciting about watching your subject and scene slowly come into focus. And I will testify that this lens is SHARP!! The clarity is stunning! I say this factoring the list price being ($). Shooting at f/2.0 creates a great bokeh. I will be using this lens on my D700 and D800E as well. You will not be disappointed with the images this lens will capture and you don't have to exhaust the bank account.

This lens is very impressive optically, not just for the price. I've owned 2 copies of the Canon 135mm f/2L and I'm pretty sure this out resolves them as well as handling chromatic aberrations better. Colors and contrast are fine, nothing amazing but not bad either. Bokeh seems smooth and neutral. Overall this lens impresses me. For what it costs it impresses me twice. I'd recommend it strongly if you don't mind manual focus.

If you're not intimidated by manual focus or lack of VR you should consider this lens. The focus indicator works perfectly and the chip ensures accurate metering. Very sharp, and the wide aperture makes it great for portraits. If you favor deliberate preparation and personal control over spray-and-pray bursts, you'll appreciate the startling results you get from this affordable high-quality glass.

The 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC Lens from Rokinon is a manual focus telephoto prime lens useful for portraiture and most telephoto applications. Its fast f/2.0 maximum aperture is effective in low light and enables shallow depth of field control. With a rounded 9-blade diaphragm, shallow depth of field imaging will be rendered with pleasing out-of-focus highlights. Compatible with both full frame and APS-C format mirrorless E mount cameras, this lens provides a 35mm focal length equivalence of 202.5mm when used on APS-C cameras. Its minimum focus distance is 2.6'.
The optical design includes one extra-low dispersion lens element to control chromatic aberration, contributing to sharp, color-accurate imaging, and each of its lens elements features Ultra Multi-Coating to improve light transmission and reduce ghosting and flare. An internal focus system prevents the front end from rotating which allows more effective use of variable filters.
A durable metal barrel with a wide focus ring and manual aperture control ring offer tactile control over focus and exposure. An included, removable lens hood deters stray light from entering the lens, while protecting it from accidental impact and precipitation.
