Excellent 70-200 2.8 lens. This is about as close as you can get to Sony's GMII version and for the price its just unbeatable. Auto focus is fast, the bokeh is clean, its black opposed to white like other telephoto lenses. Only two things, I still gave it a 5 star as things like such you get used to quick enough that you forget about them. First, the weight, could be lighter but Sigma lenses do tend to be on the heavier side, the plus side of that is the quality feels fantastic. Second, the zoom right is at the end of the lens, could be closer, luckily I have big hands but with someone with smaller hands will find a way to get used to it. Otherwise, loving the lens!

I love this lens. I had been eyeing it up for a while and rented it to make sure I wanted it over the Panasonic version. It was exactly what I needed and is a great addition to my 14-24 and 24-70 lineup.

I have been using this lens so much since I received it. It has been absolutely Amazing, fast and sharp! The zoom ring is going to take a little time to get used to since it rotates the opposite way of Sony lens but not a big deal. I wasn't in the position to purchase the 70-200 gm ii since it's a bit on the price side but this lens has so much value for fraction of the cost. The kit was a very nice addition for the same price 10/10. Adorama handled the trade in process and shipping of purchase extremely fast. Very satisfied. Attached some pics I took with the lens!!

I've used Sigma lenses with my Pentax cameras in the past. My 50-500mm was a beast and so versatile. So, as I made a major change to the Sony a7 IV, I was very comfortable going with the more affordable Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN Art Lens for Sony E and Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN OS Sports Lens for Sony E to give me initial coverage needed for portraits, landscapes, astro, and sports photography. I will probably supplement with some Sony lenses in the future, but I am pleased the quality of these lenses and their functionality.

Spent weeks researching this lens compared to the Lumix 70-200 f4 and f2.8. You can't go wrong with this lens for l mount. Unless the weight is a deal breaker then consider the f4. I knew I'd regret the f4 eventually since I enjoy shooting basketball and indoor candids.

Super sharp, packed with features and sits in the middle weight wise to the other comparable options such as the Lumix 70-200 f4 and the Lumix 70-200 f2.8 (which is massive btw in bound weight and length).

This Lens is light, and feel great in the hands. The internal zoom is best feature to me. Autofocus is snappy and the images are sharp. Great option if you are looking for a more pocket friendly 70-200.

SIGMA 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS Sports is a reliable and lightweight DG DN F2.8 large-aperture telephoto zoom lens designed exclusively for full-frame mirrorless camera systems. Combining high-speed AF, remarkably effective OS, exceptional mechanical reliability, and superior optical performance, this high-performance lens is purpose-built to meet the rigorous demands of professional-level photographers.
Featuring high performance and reliability, a lightweight design, and a full range of features, the SIGMA 70-200mm is the smart choice for photographers and videographers in a wide range of creative styles and genres including nature, wildlife, photojournalism, action sports, wedding and portraits.
A highly-effective dust and splash resistant structure is built into the lens barrel, with special sealing at the mount connection, focus and zoom rings, and other lens controls.

OS2 is the newly developed optical stabilizer algorithm. Compared to the previous method used by SIGMA lenses, OS2 improves the effect of optical stabilization significantly.

HLA is Sigma's proprietary linear motor. It drives the focus lens directly without going through gears or other mechanical parts, resulting in quiet, high-precision autofocusing.

Both lightweight and tough, the magnesium alloy barrel construction contributes to the outstanding maneuverability of this lens.

The maximum aperture of F2.8 provides outstanding versatility in a zoom lens, offering excellent low-light performance, and the ability to create beautiful bokeh and subject separation.

A manual control ring allows the user to change aperture via the lens for a more direct, tactile approach.
