My Sigma lenses were missing focus from time to time (seemed to be about 12" front focusing?). I used the dock to update and dial in the snappyness (if that's a word!) of the focus. Worked perfectly and they now behave like my native 24 to 70. Also, it really helped the autofocus in video mode. Now it is fairly reliable instead of unusable! I shoot with the Panny S1 and S1H. If you use Sigma L's on the S1's this is a must have!!!!

In addition to a firmware update function, users can adjust the sensitivity of speed to the MF function through the UD-11. As for the connector type, it newly employs USB Type-C.
