The long focal range is ideal for sports, wildlife, city skylines, and more. The lens’ optical technology creates high-contrast images from edge to edge without any falloff. The lens is crafted with 22 elements in 16 groups, one FLD, and four SLDs to combat any flaring or aberrations. The new Sigma has a max aperture of f/5-6.3, and gives long range shots an appealing bokeh.
The Sigma 100-400mm lens has exceptional built-in image stabilization and premiere autofocus tracking that produces clear, sharp images. The autofocus is quick enough to work smoothly with video, too. The lens includes an AFL button and focus limiter on the side so users can assign functions or adapt the AF range.
The Sigma 100-400m is both lightweight and compact for easy traveling. It works with both E-mounts and L-mounts, and is available for preorder for at Adorama.
Sigma Tele Converter TC-1411 () & TC-2011 ():
Sigma is releasing two new tele converters that are made exclusively for Sigma mirrorless lenses. The TC-1411 increases focal length by 1.4x and the TC-2011 increases focal length by 2x. The tele converters attach between the camera body and the camera lens and are both dust- and splash-resistant.
The TC-1411 and TC-2011 are guaranteed to preserve image quality throughout the focal range. Like the 100-400mm lens, the TC-1411 and TC-2011 are set to ship July 10.
