This modular cage system features a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage, providing a secure and adaptable framework for your Sony FX3 or FX30 camera.

The NATO rail is conveniently secured on the top with two 1/4"-20 screws, allowing for easy removal when you need to install the original XLR top handle. The U-shaped cage is firmly attached using 1/4"-20 screws on both sides and at the bottom, effectively preventing any twisting and ensuring stability. To protect your camera from scratches, a cushion is strategically placed at the bottom. The cage also includes a hinge arm at the battery door, which is contoured to fit the camera's curve, enhancing grip comfort for your little finger.

A standout feature of this cage kit is the dedicated HDMI cable clamp, which safeguards your camera's interfaces, ensuring stable and reliable signal transmission. The innovative HawkLock quick-release structure, a patented self-developed system, covers the cold shoe, NATO rail, and Arca-Swiss plate. This system is designed for use with HawkLock eco-accessories, such as the Top Handle 4483, Side Handle 4485, and Arca-Swiss Clamp 4486, allowing for smooth sliding and self-locking to significantly improve the efficiency of assembly and disassembly. For further customization, the cage is equipped with built-in 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, a QD socket, and a strap slot. These features enable expansion with a variety of accessories, including the Magic Arm 3873, Top Handle 2165C, Rod Clamp 3598, QD Shoulder Strap, Hand Strap 3848, and Shoulder Strap PSC2428, catering to professional creative needs.

The kit also includes a magnetic wrench, ensuring easy assembly and disassembly. Please note that when using the top plate, compatible hot shoe accessories include the Sony ECM-M1 microphone, Sony ECM-B1M microphone, Sony HVL-F32M flash, and DJI Mic 2 Camera Adapter. However, it is incompatible with the Sony ECM-W3/W3S and Sony ECM-W2BT microphones. Remember to remove the top NATO rail before installing the original XLR handle.
