When your daughter (22+) wants a camera to take with her on vacation, at work, with friends, to relaibly capture memories with 8x10 detail - this is her solution. Mind you she could have had access to my arsenal of 2.8F AF lenses and DSLR bodies - she read the reviews, checked out the store demos, and chose the Sony DSC-TX1. Simple to use, Zeiss lens quality, panoramic features, this tiny camera produces exceptional pictures. The Sony has a permanent place in her purse so that whenever a moment to be captured occurs she is ready. I'm ordering another one from Adorama for my wife - with no hesitations. Excellent product.
