This did not do what I wanted it to do. I was looking for a way to use older Picket Wizards on my A6600. Still 5 stars because it's my fault for not reading the description more carefully. ( I have no idea why this product was in my FB feed. It's such an obscure item.)

The Sony Multi Interface Shoe Adapter does what it is supposed to do. It let's you use your Minolta/Sony i-iso type flash to work with the current Multi Interface Shoe. No problems whatsoever. Works flawlessly.

You can use a external wireless flash with your old alpha 100-230 and beyond cameras. But you need to asapter one for the camera and one for the flash. they are not the same adapter, the hot shoe is reversed, so order both.

I purchased my flash to go with my Sony Alpha 100. I eventually upgraded to a Sony Alpha 6000. I wasn't happy that the hot shoes on the a6000 was different. Thankfully this adaptor works. I have not had problems with it falling off as some have.

The part works perfectly and without issue. Locks in place tight and does not slow down TTL. 4 stars because shipping was kind of a hassle; the first one o ordered was lost and it took a week to confirm reshipment

If you have a Sony mirrorless camera such as a A3000, A6000 or any model that has a proprietary MI hot shoe, this is a mandatory accessory if you are still using older flashes that use the older Sony/Minolta hotshoe. Spent a lot of useless dollars on other third party, non-sony flash adapters such as Travor, Pixel, Meking which claim compatibility but simply do not work or are simply DOA. In conclusion, third party adapters simply do not work. Simply a lot cheaper to get a genuine Sony adapter in the first place.

Sturdy construction, tightens securely to the camera shoe. Make sure the correct flash setting is being used in your camera. This worked best when TTL was chosen.

It seems strange to review an item as basic as this, but the adapter seems well made and works as intended. It solves a problem and meets the need, so that I can use a Minolta-style cord with my A99.
