About Tiffen 4x4 82c Cooling Glass Filter

82 Series
These light balancing filters are used to make minor corrections in color temperature.

The 82C Filter converts a 2800k prevailing light source to a 3200k balance. This filter will increase the color temperature by 400K in order to cool the image a bit to match the color quality of illumination. It requires an additional increase of 0.6-stop for normal results.
