I really like this tripod. It's quite a bit heavier than my titanium one but's also a lot more sturdy. I don't have to worry about stability issues with my 60-600 mm Sigma telephoto lens, and I really like the Arca-Swiss plate.

I got this for half price as part of a bundle with a lens. This is a decent tripod and at half price, is a steal. It is sturdy and has lots of features.

Well this is the most expensive tripod I've ever gotten by far. A great deal as well for open box. Didnt come with instructions, but do u really need them. I could immediately see the quality of this tripod, although I think I like the leg strength of my now dissowned $60 victiv tripod more. I put a little pressure on the legs and they kinda bent a little bit. Its pretty good height without extending the ball head part. The clamp locks on the legs are pretty sturdy, which is why I tossed my victiv out, the clamps on one leg busted. It has a little weight to it, but if your using it to show lay flats, u might wanna put some weight on the opposite side the camera, gets a little tipsy. had it for 4 days, so far so good.

I selected this tripod because of its weight carrying capacity and extended length. I like the multi angle center column. I believe this feature will help capture some difficult images in product and landscape photography. The included Arca-Swiss type quick release is a plus. I prefer this tripod's quick flip leg locks over the twist leg locks.

I was pleasantly surprised when opening the box. This is a solid tripod. It's metal and heavy--both things I love when it's holding my expensive camera and lenses. It has rubber feet for those rocky surfaces and smooth joints for easy panning. I'd recommend it to anyone.

This is a solid built tripod. I like that the top folds over like a boom microphone stand so you can position the camera over a desk, etc.

An amazing tripod! It came for free with my Panasonic G9, but it is in no way a cheap tripod. Don't let the photos fool you - most of the tripod is made of metal. What results is a sturdy, well-built tripod with a nice weight to it. The mounting plate removes very quickly and it takes no time to mount it in place. Additionally, the ball head is smooth. The rubber feet can be retracted, exposing metal spikes that can be used on soft surfaces like grass or carpeting. I would not hesitate to purchase another Vanguard tripod.
