This adapter is well built with a precision feel. Smooth operation makes it simple to use and as I would recommend it on those merits I feel it a bit over priced and may be a lesser priced adapter from an alternate source would do the job just as well. If you have to have "name brand" then buy it, you won't go wrong!

I went for this close focus adapter over the ones that cost 1/10th the price because it allows me to do macro shooting on my m-mount lenses. It's a great feature and allows me to get a lot more out of a single walk-around lens. I don't think it's worth the price though, particularly since there's no electronic passthrough like there is with some of the Metabones adapters. Still, it's a high quality product. If you're dumping thousands of dollars into Leica/Zeiss lenses then this is a drop in the bucket and very handy to have in your bag.
