Rated 5 out of 5

Superb Color

I had the Nikon 14-24mm f2.8 super zoom and loved it. But it was not easy to carry to casual events, or for candid photography. It was surely sharp from f2.8 but still providing a typical Nikon color pellette and huge and complex distortion pretty much unusable for portraiture. So I sold it. The Zeiss 25mm f2.8 is much smaller, extremely sharp from f4 and with unique deep color and high contrast rendering, at less than half the price. Just a more practical optic overall.
