Excellent tripod
Tripod is very light & portable and it is very easy to use. Only thing I would change about it is to replace the ballhead clamp with one that is Arca Swiss compatible. A pretty easy and low cost fix. As far as service is concerned, my tripod required repair (under warranty). I shipped it to them on a monday and had it back by friday. Service doesn't get any better than that!
The Vanguard Alta 254CB Carbon Fiber Tripod is made with carbon fiber legs making this tripod extremely lightweight and easy to use. The legs can all be adjusted individually to 3 different angles (25° 50° 80°) for uneven terrain and low angle shooting. The spiked rubber feet can be adjusted for optimal stabilization and the large foam grips on the legs are designed for all weather use.
The 25 mm carbon fiber tube is designed using an advanced 6x multi-layering technology, providing the optimized performance in terms of stability, strength and reduced weight. Includes remolvable SBH-50 fluid Ballhead with QS-39 shoe.
