I'm a glasses wearer and wanted to be sure to get the proper binoculars because I wanted to use them with my glasses. These do a great job! Additionally , they are clear, crisp and easy/quick to focus. You will not be disappointed!

This is my 4th pair of binoculars, previous ones being 7x50 for boating , small Nikon 7x21 for travel, and my wife's celestron 10x42 for birds. I've also tried a friends' Eagle optics 8x42. These Vanguard Endeavors are sharp as a tack, exhibit no chromatic aberrations, and are as good or better than the Eagle Optics 8x42 in clarity and brightness, in my opinion. The vanguards feel good in my hands, are not heavy, and I find the thumb indents on the bottom of the barrels to be comfortable. Also, the focus lock and eye detentes work well. As these are one generation back from the Mark II, and are priced and debated accordingly, I find the price point to be really attractive at $ or so after the rebate. With respect to the addition of Hoya glass in the mark II, I cannot justify the cost difference. I highly recommend these binoculars to those of us want the best possible solution at a reasonable price.

Been using these for about a week, and so far so good. Much clearer and brighter than the cheap binoculars I was using, and I don't have to take off my glasses to look through these. I hike a 2 mile loop at a local nature preserve several times a week, and the only negative I've found is that they are heavier than I was expecting. The neck strap that comes with them is nice, but I ended up getting a shoulder harness for them.

Was recommended by birding magazine - my main reason for choosing. Love the grip! Fast focus, works well with glasses! Wonderful coatings to allow plenty of light in the subject. Little heavier than I wanted but the price and other amenities make up for the weight.

I research and compare extensively before I purchase products such as this. These optics were no exception. I physically compared them side by side to all of the big names, many of which were up to 6X the price! I also compared the specs and found little if any differences. The Vangaurd Endeavor ED binoculars had the same clarity, light, solid feel, and other features of the big boys, and a lifetime no questions asked warranty, are you kidding me? So I purchased them, and have not looked back since. Unbelievable quality that is only outmatched by the value of this product. Couldn't be happier. Since my purchase, so far 7 of my outdoors buddies have purchased them as well because they liked mine so much! Now that's the real endorsement!
