great pair of head phones. Owned for about 2 weeks now and wow! Great highs mids and lows, if you have a dac it wont disappoint. If you dont have a dac it wont disappoint. Depending on your ear size, the xl cushions may be needed.

I would say these headphones are almost perfect, sound great wired and also happen to be the best wireless set I have ever heard. The only down side i can find is the pads may be small for people with large ears as well as lack of aptx HD.

Pros: -Looks great (Mine has rose gold metal frames) -Bluetooth (Cable is detachable. Great if you have bad luck with wires like me) -Portable Cliqfold (Being able to fold them inwards is my favorite feature of the headphones) -Durable (Definitely not going to break easily. Has metal hinges. Headband is very flexible, can withstand 180 degree bending easily.) Cons: -Tight and uncomfortable(-1 star. You're going to have to loosen it up first through repeated headband stretching because it feels like a vice grip straight out of the box) -Sound(-1 star. Came in defective) -Earpads (It's not bad, but I've had better ones. It might be small for some people with big ears. It's also not deep so you're ears will most likely be touching the inside of the ear cups. And so, people opted for the XL memory cushion like me, which means having to spend extra $) Additional: My headphones came in defective. The sound was not balanced at all; the voices were barely audible and certain music didn't go through properly. So I sent it back for an exchange (still waiting at this time). In conclusion The comfort level of this headphone is a deal breaker to me, but I'm going to try to see if I can make it work since I read some other reviews. Have to wait until the replacement arrives first though.

I haven't owned a pair of over-ear headphones so this is my first pair. I got them to use around at office to try and cancel out some of the noise. I purposely got ones that aren't active noise canceling, I'm not a fan. The sound is great, I havent turned them all the way up but from what I have listen to they are great; they do well separating sounds. There was a bit of pressure on my head when I first started wearing them but now that they are stretching out, I can wear them longer and more comfortably. The cushions are nice and soft, they feel very high quality. I love the option of being able to use Bluetooth or corded because I have the iPhone 7 so I can use them with my phone if needed. I also love the ability to customize them, it's always nice to add a little flair to your products. Also, they also look awesome!

I owned a pair of the Crossfade wireless 1 a sound signature I preferred when starting my day because of the pronounced V shape curve. Admittedly coming from listening to my Shure Se846 and trying to go wireless was a mess, I found my ears having to readjust in order to find them enjoyable but adjust they did. Moving into the Crossfade Wireless 2 I had high hopes seeing as how they were tuned first for audiophile music and the Bluetooth just being an add-on afterthought as you will. I compared them against the Sony MDR 1000x which is an excellent Bluetooth headphone by the way. The sound of the Crossfade W2's are very nice lots of details in the highs more than the first iteration with continued sub frequency impact. The problem I have with them is balance. Its just like when I go from my SE846's with a huge frequency range and soundstage to my AirPods, the 846's are miles ahead in audio quality but when I come down to my AirPods they scale down predictably across the board. The Crossfade W1's even with my ears having to adjust felt like a better balance of sound. The Crossfade W2's while admittedly better in SQ left me wanting more because of the improved fidelity. I wanted more sound separation more a bigger soundstage more breath. All of the things I believe you can get out of these headphones when paired with a good audio source/dac/amp. But I believe that defeats the purpose of being wireless. In conclusion I think alot of people will love the Crossfade W2's, they have good SQ and sound better wired for the moments you can take advantage of that, but for me the longing for more made me just use my SE846's which are already wired to get what I felt was missing without the need of having a good amp/dac with me every where I go. PS If I had to choose I would buy the Crossfade W2's for their awesome styling and the Sony MDR1000x for everything else, the technology and features are way better and worth the $ premium especially if your looking for a traveling Bluetooth headphone.
