It holds your Binos just as you'd expect I don't need the extra storage that other bino harnesses offer so it's perfect for me scouting the river for birds or looking for deer and turkey in the woods.

The clips have broken on me two seasons in a row. With that being said, customer service is great and has always sent me replacement clips. But the third time calling in, they sent me a new harness that isn't compatible with the pouch, and the clips don't hold. Any amount of pressure at all pulls them loose. I recommend you purchase something different.

Like the padded case, quick access buckle, and the chest harness is comfortable. Here's what I hate the key component of attachment for the binoculars is cheep ribbon and is constantly loosing tension in the buckles. I have had my binoculars fall straight to the ground. I have had to tie knots in the straps. I love vortex optics but this rig sucks at securing your expensive optics

I received this glass pack with some binoculars I purchased (which I have loved) so my expectations for the free chest rig were pretty low. And it hit them right on the mark. I wore these for a 10 day bowhunt in elk country and by the end of that hunt I was ready to tear this off and throw it away and I did. There are a lot of straps going down the front of this (mainly running to the binoculars to retain them) which is all well and good. The problem was the free ends were not retained at all and quickly frayed on everything, so by the end of the hunt it all felt like a jumbled mess. For a free add on it's nice to keep them safe in the truck, but don't waste your money.

Solid, well thought-out construction at an unbeatable price. You can open and close it one-handed no problem and it's light and comfortable to wear. There are slightly cheaper bino bras on amazon but many people complain they're noisy/sit weird on the body etc. I couldn't find a more highly respected, quality harness at this price. Thank you!

Fits great and is comfortable only problem is every time I lean forward to duck under branches my binos fall out. I wish the my binoculars fit inside a bit more snug and the lid was more sturdy.

Nothing too special here, it fits with other things I'm carrying and have rigged it up to other packs.

I like the way they fit and the protection they provide in inclement weather in the field.

For something that is included with your bino purchase, these are fantastic. You can use this for forever and never be at a disadvantage. However, were I to have binos that did not come with this glasspak, I would not buy these. At a minimum, I would jump up to the sport harness for basically $20 more if I was on a serious budget as it is forward opening and does not use the little hook and loop to keep the flap closed. Again, if these came with your binos, don't feel like you must go buy. New one all the sudden. I'll be using this all season for white tail and in an Idaho spring bear hunt. I will eventually upgrade though.

I have two Vortex Optics GlassPak Binocular Harnesses and even bought a third for my father-in-law when we go hunting and scouting together. This harness does an excellent job of securely holding binoculars and includes a handy tether to prevent accidental drops. It's a reliable and practical accessory that keeps our binoculars safe and easily accessible, making our outdoor adventures more enjoyable and worry-free. If you're looking for a durable and functional binocular harness, the GlassPak is a fantastic choice.

I bought this glass pack a few years ago and have used it heavily with no issues. It rides well on the person and I also keep this packed on the side in the truck. I just purchased another to gift to family. You will not find a better value for a pack like this.

Only thing bad is the chest straps are long enough to go on the outside of my hunting coat

I have a pair of 10 x 50 Vortex binos. With them in the pouch, I ASLO need room for a Garmin 650 AND a rangefinder. Need additional "each side" pouches (with the Vortex name on them).

Adjustable small enough for my 8 year old and large enough for athletic 46. They sit tight to your chest, doesn't interfere with your bow. 2 side nets for sunglasses and wind chalk. The bingo in the front is nice and quiet. Highly recommend. Good for all skill levels. Novice to expert. Wether keeping it light on a good day trip or spike camping for multiple day adventures. For the price, you can't beat it.

This Glasspak harness came with my Fury HD 5000 binoculars. Just got back from a Colorado elk hunt and had the binoculars fall off of the "bino tether straps" and hit the ground twice while sitting and glassing. Fortunately, it did not damage them. The tether buckles are either too big or strap material is too small and would work its way through the strap buckles after a while from raising and lowering. I figured it out just before it almost fell off for the third time. I had to use some duct tape to keep from happening again. And yes, I did have the strap correctly woven through the buckles. It would be fantastic if the tether straps were the same as the neck strap ends; it would be super fast to switch from one to the other. I'm actually shocked it's not that way from the factory. The other issue is more minor. The bungee latch for the cover doesn't work well. It becomes unhooked too easily and is difficult to rehook in the field even with thin gloves. You have to remove your gloves so you can feel the hook for the bungee because you can't see the hook when wearing the harness. If the heavy mesh strapping that the hook is fastened to was extended vertically, the hook would stand more proudly making it easier to hook the bungee to.

For whatever reason Vortex decided on not adding two more buckles to the chest straps that come over the top of the shoulders. They stuck with the straps being laced in. I think adding buckles will ( I plan on modifying mine), would make it easier to be able clip in and out easily or add the buckles to a pack instead of having multiple straps hanging off your body and getting caught on branches or twigs. I like the smaller clips to for the binoculars to clip into. Good protective case just needs a few modifications and it can easily be retrofitted.

The GlassPak is a fantastic bino harness. The previous reviews speak for themselves. Be careful before buying, as some Vortex binos will come with a GlassPak, leaving the purchaser with an extra (as happened to me). As a workaround, I have one harness with straps attached for field use, and another I'll run slick for travel use.

Been wanting a case for binoculars that I could wear while bow hunting and these seemed to be the best choice. The case and design are well thought out but the straps that attach the binoculars and case straps to body harness are not up to your usual quality standards. The straps look nice but the material is slippery and constantly coming loose from the buckles. I finally sewed the binocular straps so they stopped slipping! The harness straps have the same issue, slipping out of the buckles and always at the most inopportune times. I will have to sew them as well. Maybe heavier or rougher texture straps so they dont slip ? Over all design is great but strap quality really needs another solution so you can expect your binoculars to stay attached under field conditions.

would be nice if the straps didnt easily come out on their own constantly and the clasp didnt unhook so easily. i lost my binos hunting because of the clasp coming undone. i bought a second pair and secured it with the provided straps but then i noticed one of the straps came out of the clip so i will not be using them ever again. on top of that the straps that hold it to your body will easily pull out of the clips too. terribly flawed design. i love the warranty but they wont replace if lost which these will lose your binos easily.

Came with my crossfire hd?s and the whole setup is awesome. I hate having things hang off me or pulling them out of my bag. However, it may just be me but every time I?ve drawn on a deer this year they ever so slightly get in the way. Not enough to deflect my string but just a bit in the way of my draw cycle.

Used this for two seasons (40+ days) in the field. I'm a thinner guy & this harness wont adjust tightly to my chest so it sags a bit. However the biggest issue is that the bungee lid doesn't stretch over the hook tightly, which makes my Diamondback 10x42's fall out of the pouch when I duck under limbs or crouch during a stalk. I added a 1" foam base inside the pouch to raise the binos & create more stretch with the bungee for an effective lid hold. Also the side pockets are too small for anything useful, had one buckle crack this season & seeing some fraying on the strap. All of the Vortex OPTICS I own(scopes, spotters, binos & rangefinder) are great, but the only pros for the GlassPak are that it looks neat, not too bulky, and comes free when you buy the binos.

What good is bino pack that won't latch, you can't get anything is the side pockets and is to big for the binos it came with!? Manager Ryan was a waist of time dealing with!

This is the second season using the product and I am more frustrated than happy when using it. The front bungy latch has stretch so it no longer holds the flap properly in place. The buckles tinkle against them selves, so I would definitely not recommend using this for whitetail deer as they will burn you and this happened to me a few days ago. If you are constantly glassing, putting the binoculars back in the pouch isn't easy and refastening the latch is equally difficult. Definitely not for the whitetail hunter!

Best glass pack out there to keep my binos clean, new, and is comfortable on the back. No straps around the neck and fits great.

Got the GlassPak to go along with my new Crossfire 10x42 binoculars, and could not be more pleased with the quality and comfort. I am a big guy (6'5, 350 lbs) and they adjust to fit comfortable over multiple layers and still be comfortable.
Does the job

It holds your Binos just as you'd expect I don't need the extra storage that other bino harnesses offer so it's perfect for me scouting the river for birds or looking for deer and turkey in the woods.
Housing your binoculars and protecting them from the elements while keeping them close at hand is imperative when in the field. The Vortex GlassPak binocular harness will do just that. It accommodates a range of full size binoculars, yet keeps them snug and secure. The mesh side pockets holds calls, a lens pen and other small items needing quick-access convenience. Tethers attach to your binocular preventing accidental drops and the rear zippered pocket holds larger items such as a cell phone.
