Lightweight option to double your binos
Brilliant design. I highly recommend. Once it becomes available again you should get one.

Nice compact spotting scope!
Put this on my 10x36 Solo. Had to trim the rubber nubs on the focus ring to get it to work, but it stays put pretty well.
Definitely kills off some sharpness, and quiet a bit of low light performance, but I'd guess its probably less significant on their higher quality optics.
Let's me see the target pretty well compared to 10x magnification for sure!

Worthless
This Vortex 2X Doubler is horrible and I couldn?t be less satisfied! I love ever Vortex optic I own except for this. The clarity and distortion makes this device unusable. The worst part is now I?m stuck with the worthless piece of junk. I purchased from EuroOptic and they only accept returns after 15 days after purchase. Live and learn, save your money and invest in a spotting scope!

Genius concept and design!!
I was on the fence about this but after trying it out I couldn’t be happier with it! It isn’t the same image quality as a true spotting scope; however, it weighs about as much as 12 feathers so is a no-brainer-addition to the optics kit. If you’re even remotely interested in this, BUY IT!!

Great performance and Value for the money.
The optics are great. I used them an hour after the sun went down on a cloudy sky and I still have clarity and could easily see into the brush when my naked eyes couldn't pick anything out. Although weight may bother some, you easily get used it when considering it's performance! Really nice!

Good idea, poor execution
This seems like a good idea, but it's ridiculously hard to put on my Vortex fury hds. (Even though I specifically asked Vortex if it would fit and they said yes...)

Lens Quality
I am a die-hard Vortex guy, and have been very happy with all the optics and accessories I have purchased from them. This particular item is an exception, unfortunately. I bought this to use on my 12x50 Viper HD's, and I have two complaints with it. 1 I wish the magnifier fit more easily than just on the lip of the eyepiece of the optic. 2) The lens quality really is nowhere near that of my Viper HD's, which to a point I can understand since it is not advertised as a HD accessory. However, the image is significantly distorted at longer ranges, which is the whole purpose for having this device to better analyze things with that doubled magnification. My experience so far with this doubler though, is the image is so distorted that I don't even take it out of my binoc harness anymore because it doesn't allow me clearly see those long range deer that I am trying to assess.
