Use is not intuitive. Mine
Use is not intuitive. Mine is stuck on some sort of incline mode and I can't seem to get it off that setting. I like the feel of everything on it and I think it is very accurate but getting an actual distance on something is not easy. I wouldn't have it hanging on my lanyard for a fast bow distance. I probably did something to get it stuck in that mode but it should be easy to get out of that mode and it is anything but easy

Excellent range finder!
I've recently purchased this rangefinder mainly for hunting, and also when I go out to set up targets, I can get fast, accurate readings, and the Crossfire HD 1400 did that and more. It has a really clear glass, an illuminated reticle, and a few other things it comes with from Vortex. This rangefinder is simple and straight to the point, which is something else I really enjoyed. Overall, this is an awesome rangefinder for a beginner or someone simply looking to level up.

Great ranger finder
I gave it this score because mostly it's great at what it does. I used this product elk hunting this year and had great success getting it to give quick reports off of elk even in darker conditions. The buttons are easy to press so you're not shaking the entire finder when getting a range and the hold down option is super helpful to confirm the range. My only caveat is that it has a lower max range than some other models but if you're only using it for western hunting shots it's great!

Great addition
This item is a great addition to my hunting gear. Small, lightweight and easy to use. Easy to function, anyone can use it. Clear glass with a bright reticle. Pouch is quiet when opening and closing. Great deal with the sale!

this was everything I needed, and at a very good price. when I hunt from high angle, this rangefinder gives me the appropriate range that I need. the carrying case that is included was a very nice touch. this item is user friendly, appropriate for new users or experienced ones alike. whether you are hunting or golfing, this is a good option and like I stated above, I highly recommend this model. no further advice, just pull the trigger on this one!

The magnification is just right for bow hunting. I have used this for golf as well and it works perfectly. The glass is clear and the range is immediate. I also love that you can adjust brightness levels/ range mode. Best for the money 10/10! Very nice rangefinder and warranty!
