TLDR: This product adapts my EF-S lenses beautifully to Sony E mount (A6400). The autofocus and metering blows me away because all of the power of the Sony A6400 is able to be used (compared to my old body, a Canon Eos Rebel XSi). My EF-S lenses work way better and faster or just as fast as on the native body. 

I got this to adapt two lenses that aren't THAT expensive - a Canon 50mm 1.8 that has gotten a lot of use, and the Canon 10-22 that I just didn't want to have to replace. But like I said, new life has been breathed into both of them. So much so, that I would consider picking up other cheap used EF-S lenses (like EF-S 55-250mm) to use with my Sony Alpha. The adapter is that good.

I paid about $110 for this, which I think is pretty good. It's still retailing on the Viltrox site for $199. At $110, it made sense to keep a lens I like in business. But I'll also say that I've been very happy with Meike lenses, and will probably buy some 7artisans and TTartisans lenses in the near future. And when they are as cheap as they are, maybe an adapter like this loses its luster. But it's very good if you have a need for it.
