My new filters are awesome.I used my 70 -300 mm zoom over weekend.worked great at division 3 drag racing finals at Indianapolis,IN.

The snap ring that holds the glass in the threaded ring fell out while mounted on the lens. Fortunately the snap ring is on the lens side of the filter so we did not lose anything. I was able to push the snap ring back in place, clean the filter (fingerprints galore) and get back to shooting. (This was the 2nd day of a 16 day photo trip!) Perhaps we got one made on a Monday morning or Friday afternoon. This is my first experience with this brand. Not too impressed so far.

Well, that may not be accurate. Depending on where you are, the filter could be clearer than the air around you. On 'Save the air' days, where the pollution can be seen as a wall of muck, the filter is definitely clearer. The filter is well made, and does not add any color cast to the images.

I was looking for a protective filter for Tamron 150-600mm lens. I didn't want to go cheap, as i've read some horror storys on line and I came across the Vu Sion which was moderately priced. Ordered from Adorama. Not only did it arrive ahead of scheduled delivery time. But it also meets all my needs. Was a little finicky when I first tried to thread it on but now is fine. Thanks Adorama for great service and quality products.

This filter is manufactured from Schott Glass and it performs its intended purpose very well. No adverse impacts to image sharpness and great protection for those expensive lenses.

I have not purchased a Sion filter in the past. However, when I saw it on special at Adorama I decided to get two. The optics are clear and if is performing as you would expect.

This is being used on my backup camera with a 17-55 2,8 IS Canon lens. The only issue so far was getting the filter threaded on my lens, once on the lens it seems nice and tight.

I got it on a sale for 30 bucks, so cant beat that... best filter I have used yet.. lets almost all teh light through and no bubbling of the coating so far like other ones I have used at similar specs

I was looking for a 95 mm filter for my Nikon 200-500mm lens. This was marked down from ($) to ($) dollars. The reviews I read were mixed, so I decided to purchase one. I received it and put it on my lens then tried to remove it. When I did, it fell apart into 4 pieces...the glass, the O ring, the threaded ring and the seal ring. I promptly packed it up and returned it for a refund.

I just purchased two lens that needed the 77mm. UV filter to protect the lens and filter out the UV rays. It is a excellent quality filter and being on sale I took advantage of it and purchased two and added a Polaroid lens that was also on sale.

Filter has fine thread and will not stay on a coarse threaded lens.
