Wooden Camera Blackmagic Production Camera 4K Camera Modification for RED Epic/Scarlet Lens Mounts (Requires Factory Installation)

Let the Wooden Camera BMPC 4K Camera Modification transform your Blackmagic Production Camera 4K into a versatile filming tool with an interchangeable mount. This modification, designed specifically for the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K, allows for compatibility with RED Epic/Scarlet lens mounts, expanding your lens options and enhancing your creative flexibility.

With the use of adapters, this modification enables you to mount a variety of lenses, including PL, Nikon, Canon, Leica, and BNCR glass, onto your camera. Additional mounts may be available, and can be sourced from RED.com or various third-party providers. Please note that electronic control of the lenses will not be available when using RED lens mounts.

The modification includes a wooden faceplate with a functional wooden record button, adding a touch of elegance to your camera. If you prefer, the original rubber faceplate can be reinstalled upon request.

To ensure proper flange focus, modified cameras require the use of an included shim set. The correct shims will be installed on your camera prior to shipping, ensuring optimal performance right out of the box.

During the pre-order phase, you will be contacted via email with a date to send your camera to the service center. The estimated completion time, typically between 5 and 10 business days from receipt of your camera, will be provided in this email.

This modification service is exclusive to the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K. Other models, such as the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K EF and Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K MFT, are not eligible for modification.

Cameras will be modified at either the main facility in Dallas, Texas, or the service center in Munich, Germany, depending on which is closer. If you have a preference, please contact Wooden Camera before placing your order.

When sending your camera, ensure it is securely wrapped and accompanied by the completed form that will be emailed to you. It is recommended to use the camera's original packaging and a certified mail carrier for shipping. Please do not include third-party accessories like SSD cards, batteries, plates, etc. with the camera.

Please be aware that this modification procedure will void the Blackmagic Design warranty. However, Wooden Camera provides a 90-day limited warranty for the modification parts.
