Easy to chance and install

This was a great addition to my modifier collection. Traditionally I have shot Elinchrom but recently bought some Evolve AD200?s, this adaptor easily transitioned my Elinchrom gear to Bowens which allowed a direct connection to the Glow S2 flash bracket.

Seemless transition

How much can you say about a speed ring? Materials and build quality are excellent. This ring connects very strong and tight to my Elinchrom strobes. I have D-Lite and BRX monos. If anything this more secure than some of my Elinchrom rings (but I have used them for a long time too.)
The Westcott Switch series is great for me. They let me move modifiers between studio strobes and LED continuous lights (I have some Aputure and CLAR units). Westcott produces good quality and good value modifiers.

Great Product, as Exepcted

I used this to modify the older 26” rapid box that was made for speedlights.  It was a perfect fit and easy to swap in (4 screws)

Top of line store exceptional

The switch plate was really hard to install with the light. So the big issue for me is portability to be able to be able to assemble/disassemble it quickly. The light itself worked really well but I do think it would be easier to go back to the Bowens mounted light with the switch.

My Westcott Switch Insert Bowen mount fit perfectly and easily into my Westcott Rapid Umbrella for use on my Flashpoint XPLOR 600 PRO TTL Monolight. I highly recommend this insert.

The switch insert is simply a smart product. It just makes sense to be able to use the same modifiers on different light sources.

Great Product!

If you have Profoto lights, like I do, it stings rather hard to have to spend a small fortune on Profoto modifiers.  When Westcott came out with their "switch" modifiers, it was the answer I was looking for.  The modifiers are quality at a fraction of the cost.
