Designed with heavy-duty nylon, Westcott Egg Crate Grids are a fast and reliable way to add directional control to your Westcott modifiers. This 24" 40-degree grid helps contain light spill and narrow the beam angle from Westcott's collapsible Beauty Dish and Beauty Dish Switch. It quickly mounts and dismounts via hook-and-loop fastener onto the softbox's recessed edge.Unlike bulky hard grids, Westcott Egg Crate Grids collapse flat to fit in the included bag for streamlined travel and storage.Care Instructions: Wipe fabric with damp cloth and immediately wipe dry

The grid fits nice, seems to be well constructed and works great at controlling the light!

Great Grids!

I have a soft box with similar grid, and it's a royal pain to attach. This thing is super easy to get on, has a very nice build, and is deep enough, even deeper than the other kind I have, for good control. Must have in tight spaces, and I expect I'll get what I paid for in the long haul.

Expensive, but great quality and fit

Ideal for focusing light to a specific specific part of the scene. -Easy installation.

It works

Though pricey the grid works like it should for controlling light spill especially indoors. Easy on/off. I find it easiest to vertically 'hang' the grid on the mounted Rapid Box. I have used it with my speedlite and strobe and when light loss isn't an issue, have beautiful results with both diffusion panels, the beauty dish and the grid. This setup is about 2 1/2 to 3 stops down.
