Built on a hardware-based DSP audio system architecture, the WaveCAST WF SY5 PRO-3 allows for system optimization to deliver the highest quality audio experience. You can even establish custom pre-sets for specific performance applications.
The WaveCAST WF SY5 PRO-3 features professional audio inputs, including 1/4" XLR connectors, phantom power, and a line level output jack. It also boasts multi-stage gain control inputs and DSP features such as AGC, limiters, high and low pass filter, and adjustable range compressor control. The 16-bit DAC provides a 48Khz sample rate, ensuring a smooth digital stream and minimizing digital harshness.
This system supports both unicast and multicast network configurations, with the capacity to connect up to four WaveCAST systems to the same Wi-Fi network. This allows for multiple listening channels supporting 45 users in unicast mode or over 1500 users in multicast mode.
The WaveCAST WF SY5 PRO-3 offers flexibility in settings adjustments, either via the front panel interface or the hosted web interface. A remote programming guide is also available upon request. Please note, this version of the system is not Dante compatible.
The WaveCAST app, available for iOS and Android, provides an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface. Once connected to the Wi-Fi network, listeners can easily select their channel and volume level.
The WF R1N Receiver is a dedicated receiver for the WaveCAST system, with the WaveCAST App pre-installed. This receiver can be distributed as an assistive listening receiver to those who do not wish to install the app on their personal device.
The package also includes a CHG 404 WF 4-Slot Charger, HED 024 Headphones, NKL 001 S Neckloops, RPK 005 Rack Panel Kit, and an IDP 008 ADA Wall Plaque. The NKL 001 S Neckloop is designed to magnetically couple the audio output from a Williams Sound unit into a hearing aid equipped with a T-Coil. It also features a safety breakaway device for user safety. The IDP 008 ADA Wall Plaque is a self-adhesive wall plaque that alerts patrons to the availability of a hearing assistance system, making it perfect for theaters, auditoriums, and more.
