An essential tool for professional audio recording, the LM2C 2-Channel Passive Camera Mic Adapter is designed to seamlessly integrate dynamic microphones or line-level audio sources with video cameras or laptop computers. This high-performance device features XLR female, 1/4" TRS, and 3.5mm inputs, along with a 3.5mm stereo output, providing versatile connectivity options.

Engineered with high-quality audio transformers, this adapter ensures optimal isolation between the camera or computer and the input sources, delivering clean, clear audio. It boasts individual volume potentiometers and mic/line level select switches for each channel, offering precise control over your audio settings.

The LM2C adapter is equipped with a stereo/mono switch, which combines the two inputs into mono and dispatches the combined signal to both the left (tip) and right (ring) of the output jack. This feature enhances audio versatility, ensuring compatibility with various recording setups.

To mitigate hum caused by equipment connections, a ground lift switch is incorporated. The main left and right input connectors are combination female XLR and 1/4" tip, ring, sleeve balanced jacks, compatible with both balanced and unbalanced 1/4" tip, sleeve plugs. RCA connections can also be accommodated through the use of adapters.

The adapter also includes a 3.5mm input jack, which sums the incoming left and right signals together and applies that mono signal to the right input only. The 3.5mm output jack delivers unbalanced stereo audio, with the left signal on the tip connection and the right signal on the ring.

Designed for convenience, the LM2C comes with an attached belt clip for hands-free portable operation. For desktop use, the belt clip can be easily detached by unscrewing the retaining screws and removing the belt clip, with the screws reinstalled to prevent loss.
