Bought one in used like new condition (a 12 strum) at a local Yamaha dealer and love this guitar. The title of this review says it all. Took it to an open mic and some of the other performers that weren't real familiar with the Yamaha line were impressed by the sound and looks of this guitar and did indeed guess the price at twice what I paid. When I took it to my guitar guy to have it fine tuned it, he remarked on how well it was made after taking a look at the bracing. He also noted that the cut out isn't too extreme and by having that little extra wood, the upper braces can go side to side instead of stopping short on one side. Excellent on stage guitar that feels real good in your hands.

After trying guitars in 5 different shops with a pricerange from 500 dollars up to 1200 dollars I found this one to fit me the most. Sounds great for finger picking, strumming and tapping. I own and have owned Seagulls ( I was endorser for Godin ), Sigma, Taylor and other Yamaha incl FS800 and LS6. It looks amazing and sounds great plugged in. Compared it forward and back with a few Taylors etc but the SRT pick up sounds alot better then the ES2 for Taylor and I like Taylors guitars. I tour the globe since many years back and this will be my go to guitar and first choice at my live shows. Not to fancy or expensive to lose or break but still epic sounding and good looking. The neck is aswell the nicest I've played. I tried the AC3 and Los but like this one more.
