The CXS-XLF series is a range of passive subwoofers offering high power handling and outstanding verylow-frequency sonic performance in a portable, lightweight, yet rugged design.

Acoustics and utility
New Yamaha proprietary transducers with a durable die-cast aluminum frame and 4" voice coil are crucial to achieving such impressive low frequency response, even at the highest output levels. A dual damper also helps to realize extraordinarily high linearity of the low frequencies by mitigating unwanted vibration during extreme output levels.

Intelligent processing to maximize system performance
When used in combination with Yamaha PX Series amplifiers or other compatible signal processors CXS-XLF Series subwoofers can take full advantage of dedicated speaker processor tuning settings. Additionally, like the DXS-XLF models, they are capable of use in cardioid mode provided the processor has the dedicated DSP settings

CXS-XLF enclosure exteriors feature a durable Polyurea coating with extremely high damage resistance to protect the cabinet from scratches, bumps, or severe weather conditions, maintaining a professional appearance for years to come. Additionally, the new, easy-to-grip aluminum handle, optional SPW1 wheel kit, and SPCVR speaker covers provide additional safety, portability, and peace of mind when you're on the road.

The CXS-XLF are equipped with both a 35mm pole socket and an M20 threaded socket to support a full range cabinet. Neutrik speakON NL4MP connectors provide safe and reliable connectivity.
