Very Good
My son who is the piano player in the family enjoys this set up. For the price I wish it had a little more dimension to it (even though it would only be for esthetics) and the sound to be a tad fuller. But compared to the baby grand piano that we had that in the last two years kept falling out of tune within months of being tuned, the cost of this piano FAR outweigh getting a used baby grand piano (and we looked for over a year). I would buy it again.

Happy with my choice
I studied piano for 13 years and always played on an upright or grand piano. The feel of the keys on this Yamaha is as realistic as one can get on a digital piano. Sound is great. Excellent choice if you want a compact piano for home use.

Very pleased with this piano
I dont play it, but my wife, who I Bought it for, loves it. And the sound is way better than her previous piano. The color is really nice and matches our furniture very well.

Great balance of value and quality!
The sound is just lovely. Very natural and plenty of volume. Using the metronome, voicings, and recording features are a little over-complicated, but I appreciate the minimalist appearance so it’s a cost/benefit sort of thing. Overall, I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend!

Happy with the Purchase
We have this for a month at the time of this review.
Glad I was able to order this while it's back-ordered everywhere else. It's made in Japan. It came very well-packaged from Yamaha. Gross weight is about 150 lbs, but it came via UPS Ground without any damage. If you live in an apartment, you will need help carrying it.
Easy to assemble. It's constructed with mostly particle boards with a few panels being MDF boards i think. The key action feels great, much like the real thing; although I'm not a player myself (it's for the wife). Sound is not bad in my opinion but again I'm not a musician of any kind. I would recommend this or the lower models YDP-144 or S54 to anyone (if you can find one available).

A product that works as advertised
This piano is exactly what is advertised and what I expected. I outgrew my latest piano so I went towards a higher end model and this one is perfect. It will be a long time before I outgrow this one (if ever). The sound is incredible, the feel of the keys are the closest to an acoustic I’ve ever felt this far, and the optional sounds and controls are more than I will ever use. I highly recommend this piano for people who plan to go places in their music practice and those who want a higher end piano that doesn’t empty the bank.
