To be brutally honest poor at best. After an hour shoot the whole mechanism around the rosette was loose and very unstable. After retighten everything the same issue arose I?m at a loss of what to say very disappointed and it is not a one off there several guys in the crew with the same grip and the exact same issues.

It is very useful for daylight and also for checking detail. But the ability to articulate the EVF to different positions is lost. It is possible to tilt the Z-finder on its 12mm rod axis, however. Seems overpriced compared to similar view finders I've had for smaller cameras.

Totally useless assembly instructions & the image seemed way too big & close - but once I put both the extender frames in - the image was much better suited to me.

I am impressed by the build quality of this view finder. The instructions for mounting did not help much, but once I messed with it I got it mounted. Ordering the handle mount also. Great product.

A little heavier than the Sony VIEWfinder (fx-9) but less bulky and more robust!

So far, the Z-Finder for the Sony FX6 has been a good purchase. It?s well made and allows for accurate viewing in bright sunlight. The diopter adjustment is a little vague, and the weight is substantial, but not a big concern. I find the image a bit too big, and a little disorienting if you look around the frame too much. It would be nice if the optics could provide a smaller image.

Really needs an assembly guide. Figured it out after a while. Makes the FX6 viewfinder workable in an outdoor situation. Biggest problem is the diopter adjustment really makes little difference with or without spacers installed. It's sharp for me, but I suspect others may find it inadequate.

Mounted on the right rear of the handle. Now the Z Finder is easier to adjust to meet my eye for shoulder mount. The handle mount tightens in the direction tilt which keeps it from coming loose.

Two of the red tension levers bump into each other as I attempt to tilt the Z Finder down. Makes it difficult to pull the Z Finder back toward my eye on my shoulder rig.

Sony FX9
Single-handed 360 Degree
6" to 11.5" (15.24 to 29.21cm)

The Sony FX9 Trigger Grip is the most adjustable handgrip specifically for the Sony FX9. It allows for single-handed 360 Degree rotation with the simple press of a trigger. Flip it down for a low, rock-solid handgrip. Raise it up for more of an Aaton style position. Or quickly flip it all the way up to set your camera flat on the ground or for storing in a case.
The FX9 Trigger Grip attaches to your rig or camera via an M6 Rosette - the industry standard. The VCT Pro has a built in M6 rosette to give you a rock solid connection. It is 11.5" long with 6" of length adjustment. The handgrip allows 360 Degree of rotation to adjust the handgrip into the perfect position for combatting fatigue.
Please Note: This only works on the Sony FX9.
