I purchased this Zeiss UV filter mostly as protection for my Nikon 24-70mm, f/2.8 lens. It?s a fantastic, high-quality filter that does exactly what it is supposed to. No glare or ghosting in any of my images, even when shooting against the sun. Really excellent! Holds the lens cap well, too. As an added plus, I really like the storage container the filter comes in. Nice quality and sturdy, doesn?t accidentally open, no sliding around.

Purchased a 67mm T* UV Filter to go on my Zeiss 150mm lens. It doesn't make sense to use a lesser quality filter on such a high quality lens. The filter works perfectly and protects my lens!

This is an excellent filter in all regards. Optically, it does what it is supposed to, without causing lens glare. Mechanically, it is solid and precise such that is easy to mount, tighten, and remove. I have been using different sizes of this filter (72 and 77 mm) on different Nikon lenses (24-85 mm f/3.5-4.5G, 70-200 mm f/2.8G), in combination with a D750, and am very happy with it!

I didn't think this particular UV filter was the best for the camera. I purchased a Zeiss filter in addition.

I bought this the same time I bought my Zeiss 85 1.8. I bought it for general lens protection. It works great. I have not seen any discoloration in my pictures and I keep it on all the time.

It's a nice filter and works well with the Otus, but it's way over priced.

Actually there are some spots on the lens. They don't seem to affect the photos and I am living out of the country and it is not easy for me to exchange items.

I got two of these filters for my Zeiss Batis 25mm and 85mm. Very good quality construction and optics. If spec of dust gets on it is very easy to clean with air bulb. Great protection for expensive lenses.

This high quality filter from Zeiss is a great option to protect your investment in a great lens. I keep it on all the time and never worry about something hitting the front element. There is no distortion in the images using this filter.

I own five Zeiss UV filters for us eon Zeiss lenses. Most of them are excellent. They add no color cast and provide great clarity. Zero distortion or flaring. This filter, for some reason, arrived covered with speckles. I assumed they were dirt and would clean off. Not so. This is apparently the protective coating sloppily applied and leaving dots across the surface. Looks like somebody spit a soft drink on the filter. Need to contact Zeiss and see what they can do to remedy it. For this kind of money, the filter should be pristine.

I was thinking of using this just for protection in harsh environments but it is just good glass that I am good leaving it on. No quality lost. It actually surprised me.

Thin, SHARP, very clear, great flare control. If you're going for the Touit lenses, this is a no-brainer. Beautiful packaging! Put it on my Touit 12mm on day 1 and it will never come off. Pretty affordable considering it's a Zeiss.

I recently bought the Zeiss 50mm Planar lens for my Canon. As the Zeiss has T* all over it I figured I should also use a T* filter. A bit pricey, but it's very well made and matches the lens.
