This is a great binocular strap, you barely feel the weight of the binoculars on your neck. This is better than a harness system because it’s a lot easier when changing clothing layers. This is my second Zeiss air cell strap. The first lasted nine years and I use binoculars every day.

Top quality and wonderfully made, reasonably priced in view of the excellent construction but for me the design falls way short. I like a strap like this that can be converted between neck strap and hand strap. the problem here is that if you adjust the length of the hand strap portion to a useable size your binoculars will be hanging below your belt when using as a neck strap. if you adjust so that the bins hang at a reasonable level then the hand strap portion is too short to actually use other than as a short grab strap which severely limits the versatility. Worse, while it is comfortable in the sense of relieving perceived pressure of the strap directly in contact with the neck, it does not distribute weight any better than a standard strap, in fact it raises the load bearing higher on the neck. If it were anatomically contoured (it is "contoured"but not anatomically contoured) it would probably be a much more functional design. However it is so well made i did keep it and cut and shortened and glued the straps to a reasonable length so it functions OK on my 10x50s. My preferences aside, this would probably be a great strap to carry a larger bin or heavy camera bag cross body but i don't carry that way. Depending on your intended use and preferences it may be just right for you.
