Adorama Rental Company Focuses on Pro Video

For the first time, Adorama has a booth at NAB. Watch as Richard Harrington chats with Adorama's VP of Strategy and Business Development, Kevin Reagan, who announces Adorama's major new initiative to offer professional solutions to the video market.

New Canon Lenses

Rich talks with Chuck Westfall from Canon, who introduces  a new 35mm Cinema Prime lens that will be the 6th member of Canon's cinema line. Other lenses include 14mm, and 135mm primes and zoom lenses, including the 30-300mm and 30-105mm lenses. Flexible New Monitor System from Convergent Design

Amber Cowles of Convergent Design takes Rich on a tour of the new Odyssey, a full-featured 7.7-inch OLED monitor system, and a new approach to compatibility with multiple digital cinema formats.

Two 4K new cameras from Blackmagic

Next, Rich visits the Blackmagic Design booth and speaks with Stuart Ashton about two new Blackmagic cameras introduced at the show, the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera with 13 stops of dynamic range, Super 16 sensor, and Micro Four Thirds mount, and the
Blackmagic Production Camera 4K, an UltraHD pro video camera. These models join the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K, and all of them can be pre-ordered at Adorama.



Lowel's unique new video lights look like power tools

Rich moves on to the Lowel booth, where he gets to see the Lowel GL-1 Power LED light, shipping now from Adorama, The GL-1 was designed by wedding photographers with higher-ISO HDSLRs in mind.
