With the innovative DeVerberate 2 Reverb Reduction Plug-in, you can now gain precise control over the reverberation in your recorded material. This advanced plug-in is designed to attenuate or enhance the existing reverberation, making it a versatile tool for audio editing. It utilizes a groundbreaking real-time algorithm that performs equally well on both mono and stereo recordings.
The DeVerberate 2 plug-in separates the incoming audio into an estimation of the direct sound and the reverberated sound, allowing you to recombine them freely. This gives you the power to alter the perceived distance in a mix by adjusting the balance between the direct sound and the reverberation.
This plug-in features an improved automatic reverb time estimation and supports VST3, making it a robust tool for sound engineers. The DeVerberate 2 also introduces a unique Early Reflections Filter that works in tandem with the late reverb suppression found in the previous version. This filter employs advanced statistical methods to estimate the impulse response of the early reflections, which is then used to calculate an inverse filter that negates the effect of the early reflections.
The DeVerberate 2 Reverb Reduction Plug-in is compatible with both Windows (PC) and OS X (Macintosh), with both 32 and 64 bit versions available. It supports plug-in formats VST, VST3, AAX and Audio Units (OS X only), and can handle sampling rates up to 96 kHz.
This plug-in offers separate adjustments of the direct sound and the reverberation levels, manual adjustment of the decay time of the original reverberation, and an early reflections filter. It also provides a frequency spectrum representation of the input signal, output signal, and estimated reverberation.
Additional features include a frequency emphasis filter for the reduction level, high and low shelving filters with variable slopes, high and low peak filters with adjustable bandwidth, and a graphical representation of frequency response. You can also edit filter settings through handles in the frequency response curve.
The DeVerberate 2 Reverb Reduction Plug-in also supports EUCON and full Pro Tools HW controller, making it a comprehensive solution for your audio editing needs.
