Public Safety
The Town of Linn, Wisconsin is a popular summer destination, with tourism tripling the population during the summer months. Due to limited manpower, this seasonal population boom often strained the town’s police department. Having learned about the benefits of using drones for police operations during a conference, the town’s Police Chief (with support from ABS) invested in a DJI Inspire drone equipped with a FLIR thermal camera, along with a Ford F150 patrol vehicle customized with a drone deployment system. This enabled the Town of Linn Police Department to halve the response time and manpower needed to respond to situations.

Video Production
New York’s Trinity Elementary School has an in-house broadcast studio for morning announcements. Trinity Elementary sought to update the studio with improved lighting and camera equipment to enhance the studio’s live TV production capabilities. Adorama Business Solutions was able to provide on-site consultation, recommending lighting placements and power outlet locations to cater to plans for the studio. ABS also facilitated the bid process through the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance, winning the bid for the project. In addition to enhancing the studio’s live TV production capabilities, the updates also enabled the school to offer a new curriculum on live television production — benefiting over 300 students.

Education
Thanks to the growing popularity of its minors in design and production, West Coast Baptist College established its Creative Arts Department in 2019 along with a four-year Bachelor in Visual Arts degree program. The program has doubled in size during the past year, necessitating the expansion of teaching spaces, especially the video production and editing studio. With the help of Adorama Business Solutions, WCBC was able to select flexible and easily reconfigurable equipment to create a new classroom studio that replicates a realistic work environment. In addition to facilitating diverse teaching options, the new classroom studio also allows the Creative Arts Department to offer brand-new, in-demand course content in the Worship technology industry.

Health Care
Challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic have led hospitals worldwide to adjust their workflows to better serve patients. ABS is committed to supporting these efforts. New York’s Mount Sinai Health System in one such example. ABS was able to help Mount Sinai acquire the necessary telemedicine equipment quickly, allowing Mount Sinai to leverage telemedicine to transform healthcare during the pandemic and beyond. By implementing a work-from-home policy and equipping their doctors to practice medicine virtually, Mount Sinai was able to attend to the influx of patients and keep doctors safe during the pandemic.
